Large numbers of armed police officers rushed into a London building amid reports of a major incident. Metropolitan Police officers made their way into Selbourne House just south of the River Thames in Southwark shortly after 10pm this evening, a witness told The Mirror.
They were seen coming out with a man who was then led away, the witness said. Members of the public had been cleared from the street during the police incident, which ran on from around 3pm this afternoon.
A witness said he had seen 30 armed officers at the scene. Another witness noted several Territorial Support Group vans were parked on the perimeter. Are you at the scene?
