The clip, uploaded on to Twitter this afternoon, captures police using a knife to open a small cubby hole door on a wall before the man's head emerges.
He then climbs out of the small hole in the bathroom and can be seen wearing nothing but his undies, Liverpool Echo reports.
Police support the man as he wriggles his way out of the tiny space. He wriggles into the waiting arms of police who haul him down from the counter and arrest him.
