Marks and Spencer has been levelling up its handbag and accessories game recently, offering loads of luxe-looking pieces that look designer at affordable prices.

And the retailer has done it again with a stylish new woven shopper bag, £50 here. The black faux leather tote bag is an almost exact alternative to Bottega Veneta’s medium Cabat bag that would set you back£6,450 here. The two bags are both made up of an intricate woven pattern and hold a similar shape to one another.

The main difference however is that the Bottega bag is made from real lamb skin leather (which explains the hefty price tag) and the M&S one is made from faux leather.

Despite this, they both give off the same ‘quiet luxury’ look. The M&S shopper has only been recently added to the website as it is from their new easy-to-wear wardrobe essentials collection that features key, timeless pieces you’ll want to keep in your wardrobe for years to come.
