However, all of their lives are soon devastatingly affected by the HIV/AIDS pandemic as it hits the UK in that decade and particularly hits the LGBTQ+ community.
As the friends find their lives changed forever, the love, solidarity, and fun times remain as they fight to make a difference for each other and others.
