Love Island star Davide Sanclimenti has revealed the reason why he and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu haven't watched their series of the hit dating show back.Davide and Ekin-Su joined the villa last year as bombshells, immediately hitting it off with each other, and despite a few ups and downs on the show, they made it all the way to the end, winning the £50,000 cash prize.Speaking exclusively to the Daily Star, Davide confirmed that the pair had watched the "best moments" from the show, but found it "hard to watch" episode by episode.READ MORE: Love Island fans unearth Kai's 'Kim' after awkward name blunder on ITV show "We didn't watch full episodes but we watched clips of the best moments from the villa," he confessed. "We never sat watching episode by episode."We tried it once but it's hard to watch the person you love say something about you or cracking up with another guy," Davide continued.

He added: "We both felt the same and now we just want to remember Love Island for the good experience that it was."Looking back on his time in the villa, the 28-year-old is proud that he "listened to his gut" and believes he was "real" with himself throughout."I'm happy with how it all went, I listened to my gut and I was real with myself – there's nothing I feel I need to regret," he revealed before adding that Ekin-Su and his arguments in the villa made them "stronger" today."Sometimes I tell Ekin-Su that I wished I loved her then as much as I do now and we could've avoided a lot of arguments," Davide said. "But I think all the fights and arguments got us to where we are now."Davide and Ekin-Su have jetted off on a lavish getaway to the Maldives to spend Valentine's Day together in paradise after Ekin-Su's departure from Dancing on.
