Ex-Love Island star Tyne-Lexy Clarson has revealed details about her new television job, six years after she took part in the hit ITV2 dating show.

Tyne-Lexy, 26, appeared on Love Island back in 2017 and entered the Majorcan villa as a bombshell alongside Gabby Allen, but she failed to find a romantic connection and was dumped from the show after one week.

Six years after her reality TV debut, she has returned to screens as part of the cast of ITV sitcom Buffering, which is written by Love Island narrator Iain Stirling and comedian Steve Bugeja.

Tyne-Lexy announced her latest acting gig on Instagram and shared a series of behind the scenes snaps. "It's absolutely brilliant and it was such as pleasure to be apart of it," the ex-Islander wrote on social media and revealed she's taken on the role of a character called Amber.
