Lorraine Kelly has shared 'very sad news' with her fans and followers after learning of the death of radio host Dave Gray. The former BBC Radio Orkney star was confirmed to have passed on Thursday (February 22) following a short illness with the broadcaster paying tribute to the presenter.
The news was announced on BBC Radio Orkney's official Facebook page and in a statement, the broadcaster said: "Everyone at BBC Radio Orkney is grieving the sudden loss of our friend and colleague Dave Gray, who died on Wednesday following a short illness.
For three decades Dave was the heart and soul of the BBC in Orkney and we will miss him terribly. "Our thoughts are with his family and many friends at this most difficult of times.
