How detectives were 'one frame away' from catching Robert Hart's Parklife killer

If the mobile phone image had been taken just a few inches to the side, Robert Hart's killer might now be sitting in jail. Instead, almost 10 years on, no-one has ever been brought to justice.

Agonisingly detectives believe this picture, taken in the crowd at Parklife on June 7, 2014, just before Snoop Dogg began his headline slot on the main stage, was just 'one frame away' from capturing the face of the man who moments later would throw the punch that ended 26-year-old Robert's young life.

The Manchester City fan, from Macclesfield, died in hospital four days later. He suffered a fatal head injury after being punched once in the face after he stepped in to protect his girlfriend Gemma Parry, who was being hit by an inflatable doll at the Heaton Park music festival.
