Lorraine Kelly has been replaced on her self-titled show by her colleague Ranvir Singh.Although the 62-year-old is usually only absent during the school holidays and breaks, she was also away on Friday's instalment which left viewers confused.Explaining why she wasn't in the studio, Lorraine shared an image of herself in Orkney as she enjoyed some time away.Filling in for the host whilst she's on her travels is Good Morning Britain presenter Ranvir Singh who regularly steps in when Lorraine is away.Ranvir, who is no stranger to hosting Lorraine, has previously confessed that she enjoys filling in as you can "get under the skin of the people you are interviewing".Speaking about her experiences hosting Lorraine, she once said: "You’ve got a bit more time and because there’s just one of you doing the interview, you’re able to follow your own trail of thought and where my personal interest lies in that particular person’s story."It just means that you have a bit more freedom in a way to have that conversation that you find particularly poignant or interesting and can bring a bit more of myself into."It's not yet known if Ranvir will be filling in for the entire week as viewers have often seen Christine Lampard and Andy Peters also cover the show.
