Loris Karius is set to return to Liverpool as the keeper nears a deal to cancel his contract at Besiktas. The German goalkeeper has been in dispute with the Turkish giants over unpaid wages.
Karius is expected to receive the £400,000 he is owed as part of the mutually agreed termination. He has spent the last two seasons on loan in Turkey after being shipped out by the Reds following his horror show in the 2018 Champions League final against Real Madrid.
Karius, 26, has endured a nightmare spell at Besiktas with the latest in two rows over wages. The keeper contacted FIFA to help in the matter as he grew angry over unpaid money and also wanted to terminate his loan agreement which was for two seasons.
