Loose Women's Denise Welsh pays touching tribute to dad as death anniversary arrives

Loose Women panellist Denise Welsh paid a touching tribute to her father on Wednesday's episode (September 28) of the the show.

Denise's dad Vin passed away a year ago after battling pulmonary fibrosis and other health issues.She explained to her fellow panellists how her dad was "the only person who never judged her" as she got choked up talking about her late father.She also told the ladies that she tries to make the day a "celebration of his life" rather than being sad about the tragic loss.She said: I'm trying to look at it as a special day, I want to flip the narrative and look at today as a celebration of a life well lived. "Because nobody who knew my dad, or indeed knew of my dad, could say that he didn't live his life." She got emotional as she continued: "My dad was the one person in the world who never judged me. "There was no judgment no matter what I did and I deserved to but judged but i felt I lost the person who never judged me." The poignant tribute comes a year to the day after Denise's dad tragically passed away.At the time Denise shared the news with her followers on Instagram with an emotional picture of her holding her dad’s hand.
