In 1988, baby Steve – now 31 years old – was abandoned by his birth mother in a public toilet close to Wolverhampton football stadium.The foundling was named after Wolverhampton Wanderers’ star player at the time, Steve Bull - but he knows little else about his puzzling start in life.
However, through painstaking detective work and genetic testing, ITV’s Long Lost Family helps reunite Steve with his birth father.
Long Lost Family is known for tugging on our heartstrings, but in the final episode of Born Without A Trace - which airs Wednesday 26 May at 9pm on ITV - there’s an especially heart wrenching reunion.
