London Broncos have offered to take Toronto’s place in Super League for the remainder of 2020 as the competition prepares to discuss the Wolfpack’s future.
The Super League board will meet on Thursday to discuss possible sanctions for the Canadian club following their decision to withdraw from the revamped season.
Super League executive chairman Robert Elstone has confirmed that is an option after issues with the Wolfpack’s finances, visas for overseas players and Covid travel restrictions contributed to their move.
