Sign up to the weekly West Lothian Courier newsletter for the latest West Lothian news and sport.The Covid lockdown brought a surge in domestic abuse and anti-social behaviour complaints, shocking figures released by the police have revealed.Discussing the figures at West Lothian Council’s Services for the Community Policy Development and Scrutiny Panel (PDSP), police reports said: “The number of reported Anti-Social Behaviour incidents per 10,000 people increased by 66.95 per cent compared to the 2019/2020 Q1 period.”The report added: “This has been primarily attributed to Covid-19 lockdown restrictions with an increase of persons being within their home addresses and reporting breaches of these restrictions, and groups gathering.
