Robbie Williams to release Covid-themed Christmas song for festive season

Whatever the Government decides, Robbie Williams promises Christmas won’t be cancelled this year. The former Take That star has recorded a coronavirus-themed festive song, singing lyrics about social distancing over sleighbells in Can’t Stop Christmas – but it isn’t as miserable as it sounds. “Santa’s on his sleigh, but now he’s two metres away,” croons a cheerful Robbie, who asks for socks and hand sanitiser from online shoppers.

But he admits that his family are “going out of their minds.. beyond boredom past frustration”.
