A family are raffling off a four-bedroom home for just £2.50 after a stroke left their grandmother washing with a flannel downstairs.
Ida Spinola, 87, suffered a stroke in 2017 which made it too difficult to move around her home and now can no longer access upstairs bathroom in her Streatham home, South East London.
Her granddaughter Michele said: “We wanted to sell the house because my grandmother had a stroke and we can no longer give her a shower. “I believe it’s a win win situation as someone will get the house for £2.50 and we will be able to move on with our lives.” With no wet room on the bottom floor, Ida has not been able to wash properly, reports MyLondon. “She used to be very clean,” added Michele. “We have to flannel wash
