Werner has continued to bang in the goals despite the speculation, netting a hat-trick against Mainz at the weekend. He will hope to be back on the scoresheet this evening as Leipzig host Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga.
Though Leipzig manager Nagelsmann is sure that the 24-year-old will be regularly thinking about a possible move away. “He is in a good mood, feels good and trains well,” Nagelsmann told SportBild. “I do not have the impression that he is carrying a large cross with him.
