Timo Werner would be an “incredible asset” for Liverpool if they were to sign him, claims former RB Leipzig assistant manager Jesse Marsch.
Marsch worked with the Germany international up close last season before leaving to take over at parent club RB Salzburg and rates the forward very highly.
Werner is being heavily linked with a move to Anfield this summer with Jurgen Klopp known to be a big admirer. In fact, recent reports have suggested that the two have had video call conversations about a possible transfer.
The 24-year-old, who is thought to have a £52million release clause, is currently enjoying another stellar season in Germany.
