Liverpool are facing more issues than most when it comes to the coronavirus crisis. Whilst there are ongoing doubts about whether they could be denied their first top flight title in 30 years, there is also confusion over what kit they could be wearing if they do finally lift the trophy.
The Reds have agreed a new kit deal with Nike, with a lucrative five-year deal taking over from New Balance set to commence on June 1, 2020.
Liverpool won a high court battle with New Balance last year to pave the way for the start of their new Nike deal. But there is no clause in contracts regarding extension of deals in extreme circumstances such as those currently faced.
