Liverpool loanee Loris Karius could have behaved better towards the end of his time at Besiktas, says the club’s president. The German goalkeeper is back on Merseyside after terminating his two-year loan spell with the Turkish side last month.Reports suggested that the 26-year-old left because of unpaid wages, leading to a disagreement with the Besiktas board.
Karius actually impressed early on in the Turkish capital, but it was not long before questions were asked after another mistake against Malmo in the Europa League in October 2018.
His motivation was then questioned by Besiktas boss Senol Gunes after an unconvincing display in a 3-2 win over Konyaspor last March and this season, there were more glaring mistakes and more bizarre.
