Liverpool have found no evidence that one of their supporters spat at a member of Manchester City’s backroom staff after the Blues complained about an incident.
But the Merseyside club has confirmed that it has moved two of its fans from seats close to the team dugouts, and given them a warning about their future behaviour, after they showed aggressive behaviour towards Blues staff during the 2-2 draw at Anfield last month.
The two supporters in question were found to have reacted with shouting and gestures towards City staff, but no evidence of spitting was found.
