Liverpool will soon land a £17million add-on fee from their sale of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona with the Brazilian closing in on 100 appearances for the club.As part of the £121.5million transfer of Coutinho to Barca in January 2018, add-on fees were included in the deal and one relates to an additional appearance-based fee.Once Coutinho reaches 100 appearances for Barcelona, they will have to pay Liverpool £17.1million or 20million Euros as part of their agreement from three years ago.At present, Coutinho has played 90 times for Barca and could reach 100 appearances and trigger the clause as early as October 27 away to Rayo Vallecano.The 29-year-old Brazil international would likely have already triggered the clause had it not been for.
