Liverpool back in Kylian Mbappe race as 'new elements' cause Real Madrid transfer doubt

Real Madrid, who had a £137m bid rejected for France forward in the summer, have been thought of as the club he will eventually sign for as a free agent in next window.
But French publication L’Equipe believes Mbappe remains unsure about his future and that a ‘bold financial package’ to convince the player to sign for Jurgen Klopp ’s side instead of Los Blancos.
The outlet goes on to say that the Reds are the first English side to make their interest known, while Manchester City, who have been playing a majority of the season without an out-and-out striker, are also keen on the 23-year-old.Liverpool have been rumoured to be interested in Mbappe for the past two seasons but the links had been played down owing to their financial constraints compared to the rest of Europe’s elite.However, now it appears that if the Merseyside club put together a package that could work in Mbappe’s favour, the chances of him moving to Anfield will at least be viable.After PSG beat Lorient 5-1, Mbappe spoke about his future, saying: "There are new elements that I will consider for my future.
