Organisers of The Lightwaves Festival at Salford Quays have been forced to pull the plug for another night - due to Storm Barra sweeping across the region.
The free event has been beset by problems since high winds and torrential rain swept the Quays at the weekend, which forced a cancellation on Saturday night.
The event's centrepiece, the huge Floating Earth sculpture, had to be powered off and "sunk" on Saturday - and has remained temporarily closed due to the miserable weather ever since.
