Unlike this year's other heartwarming clips, Lidl has attempted to put a comedy spin on its animated advert. It has even gone as far as taking a savage dig at rival budger supermarket Aldi by mocking their own Christmas characters.
The entertaining clip starts with the typical picturesque winter scenes that we all know mark the start of a tear jerking Christmas message.
