Lewis Hamilton has ended a phenomenal 2020 with a knighthood after being recognised in the New Year Honours List. Hamilton, 35, won his seventh F1 world championship this term as bosses of the sport crammed an entire season into a matter of months due to Covid-19.The Brit's title win also saw him equal Michael Schumacher's record as he looks to go one better next season.Hamilton has not lived in the UK since 2007, meaning he has been included on the Diplomatic and Overseas List.In an interview with the Sunday Times in 2017, the driver explained his relocation to Monaco, saying: "What people don't realise is that I pay tax here, but I don't earn all my money here."I race in 19 different countries, so I earn my money in 20 different places.
