Cat slapper Kurt Zouma could be charged by the RSPCA 'within days' as inspectors continue their investigations into the incident.

West Ham defender Zouma, 27, has reportedly already been questioned by the charity's officers. Other witnesses have also been approached about the shocking footage of the star kicking and slapping his pet.

RSPCA Investigators have taken away the animals for health checks and assessments, and it seems unlikely he will get them back.

If the former Chelsea footballer is prosecuted and convicted, he could be banned from owning animals and even be sentenced to time in prison, although this is unlikely.
