Kirstie Allsopp quits Twitter after row over Good Morning Britain host Adil Ray’s menstruation comments

KIRSTIE Allsopp has quit Twitter "once and for all" after becoming embroiled in a row over Adil Ray's menstruation comments.

The 50-year-old star accused the Good Morning Britain presenter of showing "repugnance" towards periods following one of his tweets.

But her remarks sparked fury from followers - who accused her of "white privilege". Adil, 47, had been sharing his reaction to the Yorkshire Country Cricket Club's racism investigation, including allegations made by the team's Muslim players.

Taking to his own social media page, he wrote: "This is becoming the greatest scandal in sport. Another Asian player claims he was 'urinated' on and heard players brag they 'sh**ged a bird… who was on her period and made a mess', and all they could.
