Kilmarnock fans have so far handed over more than £70,000. Football across the SPFL has been shut down since early March due to the coronavirus pandemic, with clubs struggling due to a lack of gate receipts.

While Premiership clubs will be allowed to train from next week, the top flight is not slated to return until August 1. The Killie Trust via its 'Trust in Killie' fundraising campaign has been making monthly donations to the Rugby Park side in an attempt to mitigate the cost of the shutdown. And with another £7,000 handed over for May the total now stands at £72,800.
