Arsenal are facing an injury crisis this week with seven players currently out of action ahead of Thursday’s game against Southampton.The Gunners had a nightmare on Saturday as Neil Maupay steered Brighton to a 2-1 win over Mikel Arteta’s side in highly controversial style.The French striker had previously forced goalkeeper Bernd Leno off the pitch after challenging him for the ball in the box and the German coming off worst with a crocked ankle.Leno is only the most recent casualty at the Emirates Stadium though, with the treatment room already busier than usual at the north London club.Perhaps even more worryingly, five of the seven injured first-team members are defenders, an area the Gunners have struggled heavily with all season.Calum.
