Covid lockdown murdered his 87-year-old neighbour with a cricket bat.Pensioner Rosemary Hill was bending down to pick garden herbs for her dinner at her home in Reigate, Surrey, when she was bludgeoned from behind by Guy Douglas Unmack, 46.Unmack had been drinking, and possibly not taking his medication, when a witness saw him attack his neighbour at about 5.30pm on June 21 last year.The witness described Utmack running back towards his home before emerging seconds later with the murder weapon which he used to strike his neighbour on the head.The witness' mum, who was driving, beeped the horn of the car distracting Unmack who then ran away.Rosemary Hill, a retired teacher and talented musician, was rushed to hospital but the injuries to her.
