Kerry Katona reveals big adoption news as she discusses marriage to Ryan
ok.co.ukKerry Katona has opened up about her fiance Ryan Mahoney's intentions to adopt her youngest daughter, Dylan-Jorge.The eight year old, affectionately called DJ, tragically lost her father George Kay in July 2019 when he died of an overdose when she was just three years old.
Kerry has expressed that DJ has "only ever known" Ryan as a paternal figure. It seems that Kerry and Ryan, who connected on Bumble in 2018 and got engaged in 2020, are more loved up than ever.The former Atomic Kitten singer also revealed that she is taking her time with wedding plans for her fourth trip down the aisle.
In a heartfelt interview with Closer magazine, Kerry shared her concerns for DJ's future, saying: "I'm not fussed about when we get married.
My only worry is that if anything happens to me, Ryan's got no legal representation over DJ." She continued to explain the special bond between Ryan and DJ: "She's only ever known Ryan.
