Floyd died in Minneapolis last week, after a white police officer knelt on his neck for over eight minutes, despite him insisting he couldn’t breathe.
His death sparked protests across the States and singer Lana has been among celebrities demanding justice for Floyd. However, her choice of social media posts has been criticised by Kehlani, who – in a now deleted tweet – said Lana’s decision to share footage showing the faces of protestors and looting was a ‘poor choice’, as protestors have been threatened and targeted against.
