Harrison Ford is under investigation by aviation regulators following an incident at an airport in California in which the Hollywood actor is said to have wrongly crossed the runway.
According to the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the 77-year-old Star Wars actor was at the controls of his yellow two-seater Aviat Husky plane when the aircraft crossed the runway as another plane was attempting to land at Hawthorne Municipal Airport.
It has been claimed the two aircraft came within ‘approximately 3,600 feet’ (1,100m) of each other. There was no danger of a crash during the 24 April incident, it has been added.
