Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore knows the “anguish” a woman feels to think that she might not be able to have a child.
The former Miss USA waited until 47 to have her “miracle baby,” and her path to motherhood wasn’t easy. This has sparked a desire in Moore to help other families.
After marrying her husband – Marc Daly – in the summer of 2017, Moore underwent IVF treatment. The couple welcomed their daughter, Brooklyn Doris, in November 2018, and Moore says her daughter is a “miracle” on “so many levels.” “I didn’t want to have a child on my own.
I did not want to be a single mother. And so I waited and then after 40, I looked up and I thought, ‘Oh my God,’ ” explained Moore to People magazine.
