metro.co.ukFormer Kasabian singer Tom Meighan has spoken out about his assault on his girlfriend for the first time, admitting that he had ‘too much’ alcohol leading up to the incident. The Fire singer pleaded guilty to assaulting his partner Vikki Ager in July before quitting the British rock band.
Now as he prepares to make a comeback as a solo artist, Tom has addressed the shocking incident which left Vikki with bruises.
Speaking to Cornwall Live, the musician said: ‘We had too much to drink. I regret everything that happened that night – what I can remember of it.
I don’t condone it – it’s horrific. I love my partner to pieces.‘I was at a boiling point in my life – I didn’t know where things were heading.
