Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola both climbed a place in the list of English professional football's longest-serving current managers this weekend - only to then almost immediately drop back to where they were.
Liverpool's Klopp and Manchester City's Guardiola are undoubtedly the top two managers in the Premier League right now, having picked up each of the last three league titles between them.
City romped to the title with 100 points in 2017/18, before edging out Liverpool by a point the following year and then seeing the Reds run away with it this time around.
And both managers are proof of the old adage that it is better to give bosses time and stick with them through thick and thin.
