A mum has failed in her bid to stop her 12-year-old son in care from having the coronavirus jab. Council services responsible for the child, who cannot be named, put the case before a judge to be considered after the boy expressed a wish to be vaccinated.
Mr Justice Poole concluded that a local authority could decide to “arrange and consent” to a child in its care being vaccinated against Covid and flu “notwithstanding the objections” of parents.
