Jose Mourinho “cried” after Christian Eriksen’s collapse at Euro 2020, revealing he prayed for the former Tottenham star. The midfielder left the footballing world in shock when he collapsed on the pitch during Denmark’s clash against Finland.
He was stabilised by paramedics when he arrived at hospital, with doctors saying they have no explanation for the 29-year-old’s incident.
And Mourinho, who spent two months working with Eriksen at Spurs before his January 2020 move to Inter Milan, was left shell-shocked at the news.
Speaking on talkSPORT, the manager said: "Today I cannot stop thinking about what happened yesterday. I think it’s a day to celebrate, not to be sad.
