German doctor Jens Kleinefeld was one of the first people on the scene at the Parken Stadium and helped deliver an electric shock that restarted the 29-year-old’s heart which now is being assisted by an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD).
The professional footballer lay on the pitch for 13 minutes as doctors administered CPR. Now, Doctor Jens has told Fox Sports what the first words from Christian were when he finally woke up on the pitch.
