The Villa assistant boss was looking forward to reuniting with his former teammate and Blues boss on the sidelines this weekend.
But, along with all other Premier League fixtures and most games around Europe, the Villa Park clash has been postponed for now.
Most of the UK and many other countries in Europe are now on lockdown as fears over the virus heighten. Games have been cancelled until April 4 as things stand but this date could change if the outbreak gets worse.
