Jedrzejczyk lost the fight, in which she was challenging Zhang to win back her strawweight crown. Fans were treated to a spectacle, with many claiming that the fight was the greatest women's MMA fight in UFC history.
But the fight was so brutal on both fighters that they both had to be rushed to hospital following the fight. Jedrzejczyk had suffered a horrific-looking hematoma on her forehead, which altered her whole facial complexion.
