Jet2 have confirmed plans to start operating flight and holiday programmes, and Brits will be jetting off in July. In a statement, the airline said their teams have been working around the clock to deal with repercussions of the coronavirus pandemic.
The budget carrier followed in the steps of EasyJet, Ryanair and Tui and confirmed the move in a statement that announced flights will recommence from July 1st onwards.
A Jet2 spokesman said: "In view of the ongoing travel restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, we have taken the decision to recommence our flights and holidays programme on July 1st.
