Jeremy Kyle must be banned from returning to TV until he is “held to account” for his controversial show, a top MP says. Damian Collins says he should not be allowed on air until he is grilled about the treatment of guests – and the apparent suicide of participant Steve Dymond.
Former media committee chief Mr Collins told the Daily Star: “Any decisions on whether to pick up on previous inquiries is up to the current select committee, but I would certainly like to see them produce a final report from the Reality TV inquiry. “I don’t think Jeremy Kyle should be allowed back on air until he has been held to account for the practices of The Jeremy Kyle Show.” The committee says the inquiry concluded last Parliament and there are no plans for a
