Jeremy Kyle’s return to the world of television could be blocked by an MP who has declared he should be “held to account” over his axed ITV talk show.
Damian Collins, the Conservative MP for Folkestone and Hythe, has suggested 54-year-old Jeremy should be banned from the airwaves until he has been grilled over his controversial Jeremy Kyle Show and the reported suicide of participant Steve Dymond.
The 46-year-old MP has hit out one year after The Jeremy Kyle Show was pulled from the air amid concerns over the death of Mr Dymond, who took his own life after featuring on the show, with ITV deciding to axe the series a week after the death.
