Jeremy Clarkson has sparked outrage following his comments about climate activist Greta Thunberg after she attended the Cop26 conference last week.
In his column at the weekend, the Top Gear star, 61, branded the climate change campaigner, 18, an "annoying little bucket of ego" and "a pest", before adding that she "needed a smacked bottom".Addressing Greta's presence at the climate change summit, Jeremy said: "I simply don't get the Thunberg phenomenon."She has no knowledge of how the world works, no manners and no letters after her name because instead of going to school, she's been busy sailing round the world so she can be mardy and abusive to grown-ups."What she needs is a smacked bottom," he added to The Sunday Times in his latest.
