James Martin has opened up about his decision to put his career before marriage or children. The talented chef has one Michelin star, three restaurants and a decade long career in television but admits that his success came at a price.
Speaking in the May issue of Prima magazine, James says his focus on work meant that he shunned a traditional family life and it's only now that he's realises what he gave up. "The biggest low of my career is that I’ve given up everything for it," he said. "I look at my mates and they’re all married with kids, and that’s not the case for me because I’ve been so focused on work. "The level of commitment it requires and the choices you have to make have a huge impact." "But would I do the same thing again?
