James Maddison to sign new Leicester deal despite Man Utd transfer interest

James Maddison is signing a new £23million deal at Leicester despite the club missing out on the Champions League. Injured England ace Maddison watched on distraught on the final day as City lost 2–0 at home to Manchester United to finish fifth.

But the attacking star is still poised to pledge his future to Brendan Rodgers' side who qualified for the Europa League instead.

Maddison,23, has verbally agreed a new four-year contract worth around £110,000-a-week which should be publicly confirmed in the coming days.
