As Manchester United continue their Europa League campaign in the hopes of securing their first trophy under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, transfer speculation continues to heat up, with potential arrivals and sales being linked on a daily basis.
Solskjaer has stated the importance of the club investing in the squad this summer to close the gap on Manchester City and Liverpool.
While his team finished the season in excellent form, the lack of depth in the squad was clear to see as key players started to tire with few replacements to turn to.
In contrast to City and Liverpool, Solskjaer still needs to add talent across the board, as well as clearing out some dead wood to alleviate the burden on the wage bill.
