The Foreign Office has changed its travel advice, and now warns Brits against all but essential travel to mainland Spain. The country is feared to be on the brink of a deadly second wave of coronavirus as cases have surged in major cities.
Any travellers coming into the UK from Spain will have to quarantine for 14 days, effective immediately. This has caused chaos for Brits currently on holiday in Spain, who will now have to self-isolate when they get home.
Many will also be concerned about their travel insurance, which typically will not cover countries the Foreign Office warns are unsafe.
